Quality and advances

The route to quality, as it is called, is full of meetings and opportunities for reflection, where through the transforming power of the word, talking and listening to others, playing their concerns or generating new ideas, it has been rethinking organization, redefine the values ​​and meanings, and set priorities and lines of action, enabling more possibilities emerge and commitments of all members.

The organization understands that the only possible gerenciarlos processes from the place where things are happening, reaching the workplace, and that to the extent that each person is aware of the importance of the contribution that your work makes to the achievement of the objectives and strategic projects, will be truly competitive and productive, as each day people strengthen their technical, emotional and spiritual, to have hundreds of satisfied customers, a work environment full of enriching and inspiring guiding leaders and a useful contribution to society.

Awards

With these learnings, Imbanaco Medical Center has embarked successfully on many projects to strengthen its Integrated Management System, such as certification to ISO 9001: 2000, initially achieved clinical laboratory services and diagnostic images, and then comprehensive certification for the vast majority of diagnostic services, clinical and administrative, accreditation internationally for Clinical Laboratory granted by the CAP (College of American Pathologists) ICONTEC in 2006 was awarded the certificate of accreditation in health, becoming the eighth in receiving institution in Colombia, the Colombian West South first and second trading company, the same year the Center awarded Hospital Management Health Quality Award category Colombia in silver in May 2007 received certification standards ISO 14001:2004 and OSHAS 18001:2000, for Quality Systems, Safety and Occupational Health, Environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility. The November 20, 2007, the Medical Center received the Award Imbanaco Colombian Quality Management, awarded by the national government through the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, in recognition of its comprehensive process to quality management, productivity and competitiveness. The WCC has implemented the Patient Safety Policy, which seeks to minimize the risks and adverse events, has launched the barcode system, as well as major projects to strengthen the integrated management system, such as System Environmental Management and Occupational Health Safety and Social Responsibility based on the criteria of ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2000 and Technical Guide Colombian Social Responsibility, on the issue of information systems, the migration of data most versatile platforms in a Web environment, and the digitization of information in the WCC. All this has been hard work to address and successfully meet all requirements of the Quality Assurance System in Health.
